Aperture
A hole in a lens that attatches to a camera that gets bigger and smaller. For example a f4.5 would let in more light than a f32, this means that the f4.5 would be a brighter photo than a f32. Also the f32 would have a greater DOF, while the f4.5 would have not as great of a DOF.
In digital photography ISO measures the sensitivity of the image sensor. The same principles apply as in film photographry – the lower the number the less sensitive your camera is to light and the finer the grain. Higher ISO settings are generally used in darker situations to get faster shutter speeds, but is more noisey.
In photography you have a very inportant tool called Shutter Speed, on a fast shutter speed you will be able to see everything in focus and clearly, but the downside is that it lets in less light which makes the shot darker, a long shutter speed is when a camera takes in alot of light so its brighter, but if things are moving than it will leave a line or ghost shape.

You don't take a photograph, you make it.
There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs.
When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.
